Privacy Policy

In short: your client book belongs to you. It lives on your phone; if you create an account it's also backed up to our server, private to you. Only what you deliberately publish in your shop is public. We don't run ads, we don't use trackers, and we never sell data.

1. Data on your phone

Stitchbook works offline. Your clients, measurements, orders, payments and photos are stored on your own device. Without an account, nothing leaves your phone.

2. Data on our server (when you create an account)

• Account details: your name/studio name and email address - used to sign you in and to send password-reset emails. Nothing else is sent to your email without you asking.
• Your book: clients, measurements, orders, payments, costs and photos are synced to our server so you can't lose them and can use any phone. Each account's data is private to that account.
• Your shop: shop link, business name, logo, description, WhatsApp number and the items you add.
• Subscription status: the date your Premium runs until. We never see or store your Mobile Money details; payments happen in your own MoMo app.

3. What is public

• Only your shop page is public, and only when you switch it on: your business name, logo, description, WhatsApp number, and items you marked "Show in shop".
• We keep a simple weekly count of shop visits so you can see interest. It doesn't identify visitors.
• Your client book, measurements and finances are never public. Ever.

4. What we don't do

• No advertising, no third-party trackers, no analytics scripts.
• We never sell or share your data with anyone.
• We can't read your WhatsApp - order conversations happen in your own WhatsApp, between you and your customer.

5. Your clients' data

You are entrusted with your clients' names, phone numbers and measurements. Keep your phone and password safe, and only collect what you need. If a client asks you to remove their details, you can delete their record in the app - deletion syncs to our server too.

6. Security

Connections use HTTPS. Sync uses scoped app-passwords that can only touch Stitchbook data. Photos you publish are stored as files on our server. We recommend exporting a backup regularly (More → Export backup) - it downloads to your device only.

7. Deleting your data

You can delete records in the app at any time. To delete your entire account and everything on the server, message us on WhatsApp or email stitchbook@kingbygone.com from your account email - we'll confirm and remove it.

8. Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.
