Terms of Service

Welcome to Stitchbook. These terms are deliberately short and plain. By using the app or opening a shop, you agree to them.

1. The service

Stitchbook is a business tool for seamstresses, tailors and fashion designers: a client & order book with optional online backup, sync, and a public shop page. The offline book is free forever. Online backup, sync and the public shop are part of Stitchbook Premium, a paid plan (new accounts start with a free trial). If Premium ends, those online features pause until you renew - your data is never held hostage: the local app and your backups stay yours, and nothing is deleted.

2. Your data is yours

• Everything you enter - clients, orders, photos, shop items - belongs to you.
• You can export a full backup at any time (More → Export backup).
• By publishing items to your shop, you give us permission to host and display that content on your public shop page. That's all we use it for.

3. Your shop, your sales

• You are the seller. Stitchbook is not a party to any sale - orders, payments and delivery are arranged directly between you and your customer (typically on WhatsApp and mobile money).
• We don't process payments, hold funds, or guarantee transactions for either side.
• You're responsible for what you list: your own photos, honest descriptions and prices, and lawful items only.

4. Fair use

• Keep your password safe; you're responsible for activity on your account.
• Don't upload unlawful, stolen or harmful content, and don't abuse the service (spam, attacks, scraping other designers' data).
• We may suspend or remove accounts or shop content that break these rules or the law.

5. Honest limits

• The service is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise zero downtime or zero bugs.
• Keep regular backups - that's your safety net and it takes one tap.
• To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the last 12 months.

6. Ending things

You can stop using Stitchbook at any time - export your backup first. To delete your account and server data entirely, contact us and we'll remove it.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana.
